Who we are

This Privacy Policy describes how Reverse Audio (“we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you use the Reverse Audio mobile application (“App”).

What we collect

Audio Content (On-Device)

Audio you record or import is processed locally on your device. Reversed and exported files are saved in the app’s private storage unless you share them. We do not upload your audio files to our servers.

Analytics (Aggregated)

We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data (e.g., feature usage, events like file pick, reverse success/failure, screen views). This helps improve app quality and features.

Crash Reports

We use Firebase Crashlytics to receive crash logs and diagnostics (e.g., device model, OS version, stack traces) to improve stability. No audio content is included.

Advertising Data

We use Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to show ads to free users. Ad networks may collect device identifiers and ad performance data. Premium users do not see ads.

Purchases

We use Google Play Billing for in‑app purchases (premium subscription). Google may process payment data; we receive purchase status to unlock features, not your full payment details.

Device Info

Limited device information (e.g., Android version) may be used for permissions and compatibility checks. This is not used to personally identify you.

How we use information

Provide core features (recording, reversing with effects, playback, export).
Improve performance, stability, and user experience (analytics/crash reports).
Support monetization (ads for free users; billing for premium).
Prevent abuse and enforce free plan limits (e.g., playable items gating).

Data storage and retention

Audio files: Stored locally on your device. You control deletion. We do not retain copies.
Analytics & crash data: Retained by Firebase per their policies for diagnostics and analytics.
Purchase status: Kept on the device to honor premium access.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information.
We may share diagnostic/analytics data with service providers (Firebase, Google) strictly to provide app functionality and improve quality.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or investigate misuse.

Children’s privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided personal data, contact us to delete it.

Your choices

Audio control: Delete your recordings at any time from within the App.
Ads/purchases: Buy premium to remove ads and unlock all features.
Permissions: You can adjust microphone/storage permissions in your device settings.
Analytics/ads: You can limit ad tracking/reset ad ID from device settings (platform-specific).

International transfers

Our processors (e.g., Firebase/Google) may process data on servers outside your country. They implement protections consistent with applicable laws and their own policies.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the data we process. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Third‑party services

Regional rights

EEA/UK residents: Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data. Contact us to submit a request.

California residents: You may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including right to know, delete, and opt‑out of sale/sharing. We do not sell personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with the effective date.
